Your donation through The Brandenburger Foundation will help to bring about the initiation of BIXI bike sharing system's first pilot program for the City of Newport Beach. Together we can make our world cleaner, greener, and healthier.

Bike sharing, which is experiencing tremendous success abroad, was developed to encourage exercise, decrease traffic, ease parking demands, and offer alternative transportation. More importantly, this program reduces our carbon footprint and preserves our beautiful local natural resources.

The mission of The Brandenburger Foundation is to promote bike sharing programs in coastal communities nationwide that will focus on reducing the carbon footprint that creates environmental and health concerns worldwide. Through BIXI bike sharing system, the foundation will initiate shared bicycle networks to address these concerns by encouraging physical fitness, alternative transportation, and sustainable energy.
